Abstract

Alimentary tract duplications are unusual anomalies that may require surgical intervention in the neonate, infant, and occasionally in the older child, This case is unique because the stomach is the rarest location for enteric duplication, the
duplication almost never occurs in adults. The usual presentation is an abdominal mass with vomiting. Other clinical presentations include bleeding, abdominal pain, and intussusception. We report a gastric duplication in a 38-year-old female. In
this
article we report on a case presenting as an acute abdomen.
